C&NW Peninsula Division Layout
Here you will find pictures and details of the professionally built and modeled C&NW Peninsula Division layout by Richard Harden. The layout is a work in progress and emcompasses the whole basement (29' x 32' with a 7' x 13' extension for the Ashland Yard) of his home in White Lake, Michigan. The Peninsula Division of the C&NW ran from Greenbay,Wisconsin to Ashland, Wisconsin thru Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The layout consists of two yards (Green Bay & Ashland), many Industries, Towns and Passenger Stations.
The town and industry names are of actual places along the Peninsula Division's route of the C&NW, and are in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The time frame is the 1940 to mid 1950. The season is October.
